About the Event
The government has set out ambitious plans to deliver net zero air travel by 2050. The “Jet Zero Strategy” is designed to future-proof aviation so passengers can look forward to guilt-free travel. The industry is currently trying to scale the production of "Sustainable Aviation Fuels", which are drop-in replacements for fossil jet fuel. In terms of new aircraft, manufacturers are engaged in developing new types of planes. Aviation is one of the most challenging areas of transport and we will be discussing how net zero in transport may be possible and what the future is of guilt-free travel.
