Lord Kamall was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Technology, Innovation and Life Sciences at the Department of Health and Social Care on 17 September 2021. He was made a life peer on 11 February 2021. He is Professor of Politics and International Relations at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
